She is a very reliable performer but is a lower ranking orca. She spends most of her time with Sumar, Nakai, and Kalia(although she is still very close with Orkid) and can punish them is she needs to. Kasatka is the matriarch of SeaWorld San Diego. She is one of four living orca grandmothers in captivity(the other three living captive orcas who are grandmothers are Katina and Kalina at SeaWorld Orlando and Stella at Kamogawa Sea World). Although she is a good performer, she can be very moody and will sometimes detect what other orcas or even her own handlers do--She is a very dominate female. Kasatka was the very first killer whale to be successfully artificially inseminated and produce a healthy calf out of it. She is very good at doing behaviors that is asked to do by her trainers and enjoys the trusts she has with them. Kasatka and Kalia share a very strong bond but can be very controlling over her. She is a very smart, and picks up a new signal fast. She was used for water-work up untill 2006 when she attacked her trainer Ken Peters and injured him, leaving her suspended from all waterwork. She now does drywork in shows.

He likes to hang out with Kalia and Orkid or even be alone with his trainer Pete. He is a reliable performer and is performs either alone or with another orca. He is also one of the very few male orcas to allow trainers to do water-work with. Despite having the dominant personality, Ulises is very sweet towards his trainers.

She can get moody one in a while with her trainers and has sometimes disrupted shows by doing her own thing. She gets along with all the orcas but spends more time with Kasatka and her two calves, Nakai and Kalia. Orkid has been adopted by Corky ever since she was orphaned at 11 months of age and still spends time with her. She is a complicated whale, and only professional trainers can do water-work with her with the right experience to successfully work with her.
