Tillikum is the only adult male killer whale at SeaWorld Orlando. He is the only living orca grandfather in captivity with two grandchildren who both live in Orlando with him-Trua and Nalani. Tillikum is in fact a very gentle towards trainers and other orcas  despite being blamed for the deaths of two people. Although he can sometimes be seen with Taima or his daugther Malia, he can sometimes be seen spending time with himself. He is not use to doing water-work with his trainers and is often used in the end of the shows. So far in his lifetime, he has fathered a total of 17 calves(Ten are still alive and well), making his the most successful orca father in captivity.

Ever since her arrival from SeaWorld San Antonio, Kayla has been spending much of her time with Katina, Kalina and Katina's calf Nalani. When she gave birth to her first and currently her only calf Halyn* at SeaWorld San Antonio in 2005, she rejected her daughter shortly after birth likely because she had never witness another orca being born nor learned how to raise a calf of her own, so she left Halyn* to be hand-raised by their handlers instead. She is a very sweet orca towards her tank-mates and trainers. She is now doing water-work. She has meet Taima's daughter Malia through the gate walls, but Taima seen not to be interested in Kayla being around her calf likely because she has never seen Kayla before in her whole life.

Trua is the only other male orca other than his grandfather Tillikum at SeaWorld Orlando. His father Taku* died in 2007 at SeaWorld San Antonio and is the second calf to his mother Takara(who moved in Feb. 2009 to SeaWorld San Antonio). He will interact with human guests and trainers behind the glass walls and on stage as well. He can sometimes be seen playing with his half-sister Nalani, but mainly will spend more time with his aunt Malia. Trua has been recently grouped with his grandfather Tillikum. He is currently being trained to do water-work for shows although for now because he is still too young, he is doing dry-work with his trainers.

Malia is Taima's first and only daugther even though she is her third calf. Ever since she was a few days old, Malia has been very energetic, playful, and independent. Although she is mainly with her mother Taima, she has also been seen interacting with Kayla behind the gates, performing with her father Tillikum, and even playing with Trua and Nalani. She has not yet been introduced to water-work but might be by the time when she is around 3-4 years of age.
